On Monday, 25th January 2022, the Minerals Development Fund ( MDF), represented by the Administrator, Dr. Noriss K. Hammah visited Appiatse to commiserate with the affected inhabitants of the recent unfortunate incident that resulted in mass destruction of lives and properties.
Appiatse is a local area under the Prestea Huni Valley Local Management Committee of the Mining Community Development Scheme.
The Secretariat is deeply concerned about the prevailing conditions and would contribute graciously towards the Endowment Fund instituted for their benefits as directed by the Sector Minister, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor.
